ROB HANEY - POLITICAL PIMP!

Looks like our 'pal' MCRC Chairman ROB HANEY is up to his old tricks again!  This is the man who brought us Tommy '5 WIVES' Morrissey, Mark 'PANTSLESS' Spinks, and kept Brett "109 & FEELING FINE' Mecum as AZ GOP Executive Director!

Last week, Haney sent out an e-mail to all PC's touting Congressman Trent Franks to run for the Senate seat being vacated by Jon Kyl:

Dear Family, Friends, PCs and TEA Patriots,

Marne and I want to encourage you to contact Congressman Trent Frank's local office to let him know of the tremendous grassroot support he would have if he tosses his hat in the ring for our Senate seat. He is seriously considering doing so and our encouragement can only help him realize what a strong, viable candidate he will be for AZ conservatives.

If you agree with us, please send a personal note to his local office at:

7121 W. Bell Rd, #200, Glendale, AZ 85308.

On the envelope, please write "Attn: Shari Farrington". Shari is a PC also and is Cong. Franks' District Office Executive Assistant and Field Representative. Many of you have met Shari. She is a familiar face at District, Pachyderm and TEA Party meetings.

A poll to vote for the candidate you would prefer is being conducted at the site below.

Rob & Marne

We have received many e-mails from PC's who received this notice and wonder why Haney is using the County E-Mail database for this?  The MCRC has rules concerning endorsing candidates:

CONTINUING BYLAWS OF THE

MARICOPA COUNTY REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE

Revised January 16, 2010

ARTICLE VI

Section 5 - Elections Neutrality

A. Contested Primary Elections
No officer or member may claim to speak on the behalf of the EGC in support of a candidate in the Republican Primary Elections unless authorized to do so by the advance approval of 60% of the elected membership of the EGC at a duly constituted meeting.

B. Endorsements of Non-Republican Candidates

No member of the MCRC shall lend an endorsement to a non-Republican candidate in any election. Should a MCRC member endorse a non-Republican, that MCRC member will lose his voting privileges, including proxies, for the rest of his term.

This isn't the first time Haney has been involved in this type of controversy

Haney, who spent the entire year of 2008, blasting John McCain when he was running for President ( Haney went to LIBERAL sources like the New York Times, Salon to 'rat McCain out).  Here is what Rob Haney had to say about Senator McCain:

"[John] McCain is mentally unstable and vindictive and out of control."

--Arizona Republican state commiteeman Rob Haney

Source: The Huffington Post February 15, 2007

One of the reasons we have Barack Obama as President IS Rob Haney and his merry band of morons!

Now Haney is trying to 'pimp' Trent Franks to run vs. Jeff Flake.  Haney hates Flake and thinks he’s the same as John McCain ;  look at who is trying to get Franks to run......the entire TEAM HAYWORTH group (Guess they all need jobs?)

The same people who supported Hayworth in 2010 would be the same who would support Franks.  (Is this 2010 all over again?).  Rob Haney's endorsements don't mean much, just ask Senator J.D. Hayworth, Attorney General Andrew Thomas, Congressman Sam Crump & Gov. Dean Martin.

Now rumors are out there that Haney would run for State Chairman if/when Tom Morrissey resigns.

Here is what 'SCUMBAG' Brett Mecum had to say today in the "Hotline On Call":

http://hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com/archives/2011/03/franks-likely-t.php

"The popular opinion out here is that Congressman Franks is very heavily leaning towards running. If I were doing stats, I'd give him better than a 90 percent chance that he does run," Arizona Republican Party executive director Brett Mecum told Hotline On Call on Monday...........................

Franks would also have an immediate base of conservative support in the state. Maricopa County GOP Chair Rob Haney, an influential figure in the state's conservative movement who has expressed dissatisfaction with Flake's views on immigration, recently penned an email encouraging supporters to contact Franks' office to let him know how much support he'd have if he enters the race.

Rob Haney needs to go away & take Tom Morrissey, Brett Mecum, & Mark Spinks with him!

I feel that Trent Franks would be doing the voters a service if he entered the race and provided an alternative to Flake. Voters should always have meaningful choices, both in primary and general elections. If Haney or any other GOP official wants to encourage qualified people to run for office, more power to them.
