Who is the Arizona Liberty Project? (And Why is David Schweikert Mixed Up With Them?)

Arizona Liberty Project, LLC is hosting a Lincoln Day Dinner (or Reagan Day Dinner, depending on which page you look at) on March 12.


The event will be headlined by Trent Franks, Tom 'Tommy 5 Wives' Morrissey, Russell Pearce, and will include a "special video message" from David Schweikert. Sadly, it does not appear that Rob Haney made the guest list.


So who is Arizona Liberty Project, LLC? A quick review of the Corporation Commission's website shows that it was incorporated by MARL SPINKS. A more detailed review indicates that the "L" should be a "K", which means that Arizona Liberty Project, LLC = Pantsless Mark Spinks.

Two interesting things. 1) The Arizona Liberty Project website does not list Mark Spinks' name anywhere. 2) The AZGOP event calendar does not list this event, despite the fact that the State Party Chairman is a featured speaker.


Now, it's getting kind of hard to determine what part of this is incompetence, and what part is a cover-up, since there's plenty of incompetence and corruption to go around with this crew.


But I think the biggest question about all of this is why freshman Congressman David Schweikert is mixed up in all of this? I would think a new Congressman who is looking toward re-election would want to stay away from controversial situations like this.


We already know that Tom Morrissey and Russell Pearce lack moral compasses, and will ally with anyone to retain power, so their participation makes sense. And I've always been a little iffy about Trent Franks, so no surprises there, either.


But David Schweikert? I expected better from you.


Are you really casting your lot with the Spinks/Morrissey/Pearce crowd? Really?





Also interesting to note, for those of you out there that this would impact- failing to report your conviction to the Real Estate Board does not bar you from legally starting a new corporation in Arizona.
