Wishing Arizonans a Happy Hanukkah

“With Hanukkah beginning Saturday evening, I want to wish our Jewish friends and neighbors a blessed and happy holiday.
 

“Hanukkah is the story of the Maccabees, who fought honorably in defense of their faith and freedom. The Maccabees’ bravery in overthrowing their oppressors remains a beacon. The lessons of their liberation still shine.
 

“During this joyous holiday season, I hope all Arizonans can spend time with friends and family. Please join me in sending a prayer to our heroes in uniform who are stationed far from those they love. Have a peaceful and safe holiday!”
