Danny Devito's Drunken Bush Bash on the "View"

Danny Devito was on the liberal TV show 'The View' and showed his true colors. This seems to be typical of all these Hollywood Liberals. When are these liberals going to learn?

The Emperor Strikes Back!

District 11 'Emperor' Rob Haney survived a challenge from former Governor Fife Symington last night to retain his LD-11 Chairmanship. The vote was 215 to 160 (having 140 proxies doesn't hurt?). As Obi-Wan Kenobi said to Yoda "this was our last hope". But alas, we all know what happens to the Emperor in the final movie...

David Braswell wins the LD-6 Chairman race!

David Braswell is the new LD-6 Republican Chairman. After a 30-30 vote, Braswell defeats Mark Zemel, a local Real Estate Broker, by a coin toss.

David Braswell is the CEO of Upslope Solutions, an education based company, has been an active member of the Community (former Board member of the Wash Elem School Dist & Glendale Union HS Dist). His 30+ year career in Education gives him the leadership skills needed in LD-6. Braswell will unify this fractured District and bring it back to the prominance it had in 2004 when LD-6 won District of the Year from the AZ GOP. He replaces Kerry Martin, wife of 'ethically impared' State Treasurer-elect Dean Martin. Dave Braswell will be a guest on the 'Inside Politics' Radio Show tomorrow @ Noon on KFNX 1100AM.

The SUN DEVILS stomp the U of Who!

Tonight, Dirk Koetter coached like his job was on the line (and it was) in the Sun Devils 28 to 14 victory over the AZ Mildcats down in the Socialist Republic of Tucson. For the 1st time this season, Koetter had his team fired up and under control. His game plan, something missing all season, was brilliant. Going for it on 4th down in the 1st Qtr really took it right to Arizona. Rudy Carpenter had his best game of the season and the running attack was awesome tonight. Where has 'this' team been hiding? Koetter finally won a game he wasn't suppossed to win. The Sun Devils should receive a bowl bid, which means a month more of needed practice which will help develop the younger players. Way to go ASU!!!

I will be the 1st to admit when I am wrong....

I was wrong....the Arizona Cardinals are NOT the worst team in the NFL this season (OK second worst...LOL!). In the NFL's version of the "Futility Bowl' today @ the UPS in Glendale, The Cardinals pulled out a miraculous 17-10 victory. Now 2-8, the Cards, by winning this game, have virtually given the Lions the 1st pick of the NFL Draft for 2007. Fox Sports Kevin McCabe reported that Coach DaKnee Green will be fired at seasons end (please, please). Lets see what happens!

What happened to 'OUR' Phoenix Suns?

Sports Illustrated named them as their Pre-Season NBA Champion. The Phoenix Suns began this year on a vacation/training camp in Italy (something I think has helped lead to this mess). After Saturday's tough loss @ Utah, the Suns are in last place in the Pacific Divison with a record of 3-6. Granted, the last 2 games have been played without two time NBA MVP Steve Nash, but the Utah game was a microcosm of just how this season has gone. The Suns were up by 16 points in the 4th Qtr. Leandro Barbosa then pulled one of the biggest choke jobs I have ever seen. In a 1 minute segment at the end of the game, Barbosa missed a wide open layup (gee didn't he do this in the 1st game vs Utah, also a loss?). He then immediately fouled a Jazz player shooting a 3 pointer, giving Utah 3 Free Throws. This team has some serious issues that need to be addressed. One good thing that has occurred; Amaré Stoudemire has returned to his top play level from 2 season ago before his injuries. The Suns need to pick up the pace and stop the tendency of giving up big leads late in the game.

Congressman Shadegg loses his bid for Minority Whip..

Arizona Congressman John Shadegg lost his bid this morning to become the Republican House Minority Whip. Rep. Roy Blount - MO beat Shadegg by a vote of 137 to 57. The race for House Minority Leader went to Rep. John Boehner - OH. He beat Rep. Mike Pense- IND by a 168 to 27 margin. So much for fresh, new leadership for the House GOP. Same old, same old. These people must still be in deep denial. Shadegg would have been an excellent leader in Congress, it's a shame the House GOP wasted this opportunity for change!

Sen. John McCain files paperwork today!

Sen. McCain's Statement:

Over the past year, I have traveled the country campaigning with candidates running for local, state, and federal office and I've been constantly proud to stand with Republican candidates in supporting a secure homeland, fiscal responsibility, ethics in government, and common sense conservative principles. With the formation of John McCain 2008 - The Exploratory Committee, I will continue my conversation with the American people over the direction of the Republican Party and the future of our country.
During the next couple of months, I will be talking with my family, friends and supporters about whether to officially announce a run for President; prior to that decision, the formation of this committee is the first legal step in that process. I hope that you will visit my new webpage,
http://www.exploremccain.com/, and join me in this effort.

Our Party suffered an electoral setback last Tuesday, but that defeat was not a repudiation of our values and our beliefs; America remains a conservative country. Rather, the election results were an expression of frustration with Washington gridlock and Washington's lack of touch with real America. In 1994, American voters sent Republicans to Congress to change government; instead, we became government. This Thursday, November 16, I will give a major address on my vision for the Republican Party and how we will get back on the path to victory. Please join me at http://www.exploremccain.com/ to watch the speech live online at 7:10 PM. Thank you for your past support and encouragement and I look forward to continuing our efforts together to reform Washington and keep America safe at home and abroad.

Sincerely,

John McCain

Sen. John McCain today took out the

paperwork with the Federal Elections
Committee in the 1st step towards running
President in 2008.

Rep. Doug Quelland may not be finished yet?

District 10 State Representative DOUG QUELLAND has been trailing Liberal Democrat Jackie Thrasher since Election Night one week ago. After checking the recent results today, he is now only behind by a total of 60 votes. Since last Friday, Quelland has steadily gained votes each day (he was 337 votes behind 11/10). This race seems to be far from over. At the least, a recount will occur (if the difference is under 100 votes).

The 2008 Presidential Campaign has begun!

NY Sen. Hillary Clinton, front runner for the Democratic Nomination for President in 2008 this weekend brought up the two words that made the 1994 GOP Revolution take place: 'HEALTH CARE'! The Dems are going back to their true beliefs, the Liberal agendas they truly believe in. So much for the Blue Dog Moderates who were elected? The Libs are showing their true colors (we knew it all along).

Yesterday, former NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani threw his hat into the ring by announcing his Exploratory Committee, same as Sen. John McCain did. Giuliani, a tough, experienced candidate, will be a formidable contender for the nomination. The only problem he faces is his Pro-Choice stance on Abortion which will be a tough sell for him to the Conservatives.

The reason for all this early activity is simple....the GOP candidates will have to have raised over $ 100 Million dollars BEFORE the Primaries start in 2008. These primaries will be hard fought and expensive. McCain & Giuliani should be able to raise this type of $$$. If Hillary Clinton has no real competition for the Dem nomination (can you say Obama?), it can make things easier for the Dems. This is going to be an interesting next 2 years!

McCain set to announce Exploratory Committee for Pres on Monday..

Sen. John McCain is set to announce his Exploratory Committee on Monday. This is the 1st step in setting up his run for the Presidency in 2008. After the recent Mid-Term elections where Democrats took back the US House & Senate, Sen. McCain stands as one person who can 'bridge' the gap between disfranchised Republicans & lead the party back to prominence. I have personally seen many Conservatives in Internet groups that I belong to, change their tune on McCain since Tuesday. As good a candidate as Rudy Giuliani is, the fact that he is Pro-Choice, will kill him in a GOP primary run. Sen. George Allen's loss in VA also looms large in this. All summer, many easterners were pushing him for President and that is now finished. I am looking forward to seeing how this all turns out....

The Democrat Con Job!

The Con Job the Democrats just pulled on the voters of the United States is going to come back to haunt them. Almost all of the candidates the Dems ran were 'Conservative'. (Except in CD-5 AZ where a liberal, sign stealing former mayor of Tempe, AZ - the 'liberal armpit of Arizona won) For example, Heath Shuler - D - NC former failed QB from the Washington Redskins ran on a campaign that he would not vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker. What happens after he is elected? He now is voting for Pelosi. Run Conservative to get elected and once elected, change back to what you really are.....LIBERAL. Look at Jim Webb in VA? He ran so Conservative that he is going to be at odds with the new Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. It's actually going to be fun to watch these so called 'Conservative Democrats' squirm as the Liberals like Nancy Pelosi & 'Buzz Lightweight' Chairman of the DNC, come off the Prozac they must have taken on Election Night to attempt to look like leaders. The drugs are starting to wear off as the Dems true colors are starting to show up....

Democrats vision for America!

That's right folks.......they have NO vision or ideas.

Now for the Election Results. I had the Kyl-Boss Pederson race correct, as well as Rick Renzi's. Boy did I screw up on the Governor's race (where were all the Republicans?). Worst of all, we lost JD Hayworth to an ultra-liberal, near Communist Harry 'Sign Stealer' Mitchell. Tempe & Tucson - the 'liberal' trash cans of Arizona. We lost some seats in the State Legislature which again is surprising to me. It's time to get back to work!!!

Here are MY Predictions for Tuesday's Elections....

Here are MY predictions for Tuesday's General Elections:

Arizona Senate Race

Sen. Jon Kyl 55% - 'Boss' Pederson 45%
This race will NOT be as close as the Dems think. Sen. Kyl has done an EXCELLENT job for Arizona and the voters know it. Like I have said all along, you can't BUY a Senate Seat in Arizona...

CD-5 US House of Representatives

Cong. JD Hayworth 51% - Harry 'Sign Stealer' Mitchell 48%
The Libertarian will get 1%

In the end, Republicans will come home for JD. Sorry Harry, back to Tempe for you pal...

CD-8 US House of Representatives

Gabby 54% - Randy Graf 48%
The RNCC will regret not funding Mr. Graf's campaign. What a shame? This race was winnable. Hope those CD-8 peeps like the Illegal Aliens running rampant in Tucson...

CD-1 US House of Representatives

Cong. Rick Renzi 55% - Ellen Simon 45%
Another that won't be as close as the Dems think. Rick has done a fabulous job on the Indian Reservations and this is his saving grace....

Arizona Governor Race

Gov. 'Veto' Napolitano 54% - Len Munsil 45%
Barry Hess - 1%

Again, another race closer than imagined. The problem Munsil had was name recognition vs 'VJ'. I give Munsil all the credit in the world for having the guts to run against an incumbent governor. Many other better know GOP candidates ran and hid from this race. One we could have won....

Some closing thoughts....the veto proof Arizona Legislature is gone. If the 'so called' Dem nationwide sweep occurs, this may trickle down to the Legislative District level. Polls are showing that in LD-10, Speaker Jim Weires is 11 points behind his Dem opponent. The AZ GOP has, this weekend, put $100,000 in his campaign. Why didn't this money go to Cong. Hayworth or Randy Graf? Polls in LD-17 show that Laura Knaperek may also be in trouble. That race has a lot to do with the CD-5 race & Harry Mitchell. Maybe you should have run for State Treasurer Laura, you would have won that race easily.

Nationally, looks like the Dems will get a small majority in the House (can you say Speaker Nancy Pelosi? God Help Us!!!). The Senate will remain GOP so the Dems won't be able to do anything. 2 years with Pelosi as Speaker will return Republicans in back to power in 2008!

"We support those not as smart as John Kerry"- At the Army-Air Force Game

A West Point Cadet sends this along with the photo above:
I'm a cadet at West Point, and tonight at our game against the Air Force Academy, a big sign emerged, and it was shown to the Corps of Cadets, who cheered wildly, and then shown to the Air Force cadets, who also cheered

Jeff Groscost - AZSPEAKER 1961-2006.....

Former Speaker of the AZ House Jeff Groscost passed away this morning at the age of 45. I had the honor of working with Jeff on some GOTV projects back in 2004. My condolences & prayers go to his wife Dana and his six children. An account is being set up at Chase Bank for the kids college expenses. I will post the link once it's available...

Pima County Dems must be desperate?

Funny isn't it? The AZ Democratic Party has to pay 'volunteers' for their GOTV program. I've been involved in 2 different Arizona Republican Party GOTV efforts; they never had to 'pay' for volunteers. The GOP GOTV efforts in Arizona have made the difference in the last couple of election cycles; remember John F'n Kerry's 10 point lead on President Bush in AZ in 2004? Let's ask Boss Pederson next Tuesday night if it was worth spending $10 Million to buy a Senate seat? He won't win, so it was a total waste of $$$. You can't buy Arizonans Jimbo!

Liberal group ACORN attempts to steal Missouri Senate Race!

The Liberal voting registration group ACORN is attempting to register people in Missouri who are dead, people who don't exist, and made up names in order to steal the elections there. In a news story on today's 'FOX NEWS - Fox Report with Shepard Smith', 4 workers from ACORN were indicted on charges of voter fraud. Talk is that thousands of Missouri voters maybe affected by this fraud. The Missouri GOP Party has put out this Press Release concerning this mess. How many other states in this happening in? Is this the only way Democrats can win elections anymore?

Apology NOT accepted Sen. Lurch!

Sen. John F'n "LURCH" Kerry put an 'apology' on his website late this afternoon. What took so long Lurch? Your still the same MORON you were in 2004. All day long, people in your own party, including Hillary Clinton, have urged you to apologize to the troops. Your half assed apology doesn't make the mark sir. You have offended our wonderful all volunteer Armed Forces time & time again. People, remember, Kerry stated publicly what most Democrats think. THIS IS the kind of thinking you get with a Dem House & Senate!!!
