Rep. Salmon Announces Congressional Staff

Welcomes experienced and enthusiastic staffers to his Arizona and Washington, D.C. team
Washington—Today, Representative Matt Salmon (AZ-05) announced the names of his new Congressional staff in both his Arizona and Washington, D.C. offices. Salmon released the following statement.
“I am elated to have such an experienced and enthusiastic staff to help me serve the constituents of the Fifth Congressional District of Arizona. Together, we can work to balance the budget, cut spending, and reduce the size and scope of the federal government. We are ready to get to work.”—Representative Matt Salmon (AZ-05)
Chief of Staff: Adam Deguire 
Adam Deguire joins Rep. Salmon’s staff as the Chief of Staff. Bringing a wealth of political knowledge and experience, Deguire accepted this top post after serving as the Campaign Manager for Matt Salmon for Congress during the primary and general election. Previously, Deguire worked as a top aide on New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez’s successful campaign and served as Executive Director of the Hawaii Republican Party. He also worked for the Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C. A native Arizonan, Deguire graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson and currently lives in Mesa with his wife Dawn.
District Director: Chuck Gray
Chuck Gray joins Rep. Salmon’s office as the District Director. As a former Arizona Senate Majority Leader and member of the Arizona House and Senate, Gray brings many years of Arizona political experience and wisdom to the office. Additionally, he served as the Arizona Chairman for the Mitt Romney for President '08 Campaign. Before his political service, Gray served 10 years as a Police Officer for the City of Mesa. A fifth generation Arizonan, Gray and his wife, Connie, have been married for 32 years. He is based out of the District Office in downtown Gilbert.
Director of Constituent Services: Sherry Pierce

Sherry Pierce is a fifth generation Arizonan, born and raised in Mesa. She joins the office as the Director of Constituent Services after serving as a volunteer on Rep. Salmon’s campaign. Pierce looks forward to serving the residents of the Fifth Congressional District and believes Rep. Salmon will defend the precious truths in the Constitution and fight for smaller government. She is based in the District Office.

District Scheduler/Office Manager: Amy Mannes
Amy Mannes joins Rep. Salmon’s office as the District Scheduler and Office Manager. Educated at the University of South Dakota, she earned a B.S. in History. As a campaign volunteer, Mannes worked “to keep Matt going to the right place” and looks forward to continuing this job in his congressional office. Previously, Mannes worked for Sen. John Thune (R-ND) for three years. She is based in the District Office and resides in Mesa.
Constituent Services Representative: Lee Huff
Lee Huff joins Rep. Salmon’s office as a Constituent Services Representative. An Arizona State University graduate with a B.S. in Business Management, Huff is native to Arizona and currently resides in Mesa. Huff worked as a Field Director during Salmon’s campaign for governor and is a former business owner. Uniquely, Huff served during Rep. Salmon’s first tenure in office as Deputy Chief of Staff of Administration. Like Rep. Salmon, Huff is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and lived abroad in Taiwan. He is based out of the District Office.
Constituent Services Representative: Janet Bosley
Janet Bolsey joins Rep. Salmon’s office as a Constituent Services Representative. A former local small business owner, Bosley brings a wealth of experience in customer service and small business issues. Additionally, she served as a campaign volunteer for Rep. Salmon’s most recent campaign. Originally from Utah, she moved to the East Valley in 1969. She is based out of the District Office.
Deputy Chief of Staff: Lorissa Bounds
Lorissa Bounds brings over 18 years of Capitol Hill experience to her job as Deputy Chief of Staff. Working as Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Brian Bilbray (CA-50) and as Legislative Director to Rep. Duncan Hunter (CA-52), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Bounds brings a wealth of knowledge and western-state legislative experience to Rep. Salmon’s Washington, D.C. office. She holds a degree in Finance and Political Science from the University of Oregon and is an avid Ducks fan. Bounds lives in Virginia and looks forward to helping Rep. Salmon in the fight to restore the American dream of freedom, economic security and limited government. Bounds is based out of the Washington, D.C. Office.
Communications Director: Kristine Michalson
Kristine Michalson joins Rep. Salmon’s team as his Communications Director. Having served as a Press Lead in Governor Romney’s presidential campaign, she brings valuable experience with national and local media from around the country. She has over four years of experience with a western-focused member having served as Press Secretary and Legislative Assistant for Rep. Doug Lamborn (CO-05). Michalson earned her teaching certification and a B.A. in History from Grove City College in Pennsylvania. She is based out of the Washington, D.C. office.
Legislative Assistant: Jonathan Sarager
Jonathan Sarager joins Rep. Salmon’s Washington, D.C. office as Legislative Assistant. Sarager was born in Phoenix and is a fourth generation Arizonan. He graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Economics and a Chinese language minor. After spending five years as a financial advisor, Sarager went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. Following law school, Sarager volunteered in Matt Salmon’s congressional campaign. He is based out of the Washington, D.C. Office.

Executive Assistant/D.C. Scheduler: Olivia Vickers
Olivia Vickers joins Rep. Salmon’s staff as his Executive Assistant and D.C. based Scheduler. A graduate of Texas A&M University, she brings nearly five years of hill experience. Originally from Falfurrias, Texas, she is based out of the Washington, D.C. office.
Legislative Correspondent: Greg Safsten
Greg Safsten joins Rep. Salmon’s office as the Legislative Correspondent. A graduate of Arizona State University and Weber State University, Safsten was Field Director on Rep. Salmon’s congressional campaign. He attended Mountain View High School in Mesa, AZ and is a native of the Fifth Congressional District. He is based out of the Washington, D.C. Office.
Staff Assistant: Jenell Biggs
Jenell Biggs joins Rep. Salmon’s Washington, D.C. Office as the Staff Assistant. Born and raised in Arizona, Biggs then attended Brigham Young University in Utah. Biggs recently returned to the United States after completing her humanitarian mission in New Caledonia. She is based out of the Washington, D.C. office.
