Martha McSally:
"Pioneering spirit is someone
who goes where no one else has been before, who's going to lead the way for
others. And that's the spirit we have here in the people of Southern Arizona.
That's the spirit that is instilled in me. We need people in Washington, DC
right now that are going to lead and are going to stand up for what's right.
I'm a public servant who has learned how to lead people in combat, solve
problems, bring teams of people together and get things done. I'm Martha
McSally and I approve this message."
Martha McSally is the first
female fighter pilot to fly in combat, and first to command a fighter squadron
in combat in United States history. In 2001-2002, Martha McSally earned national
recognition for successfully overturning a military policy requiring all U.S.
servicewomen to wear Muslim clothing when off base in Saudi Arabia.
