BOB WORSLEY - Less than 23 Days to Election Day

Friends, family & supporters -
Our campaign to "Elevate" Mesa is moving forward at full force and we continue to receive more and more community support as we approach election day. Many of you have responded with personal contributions and we can't thank you enough for your support. Your continued gracious support helps ensure we can continue to communicate with voters.
We recently received the endorsement of US Senator Jon Kyl, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, the Arizona State Contractors Coalition, and the Arizona Republic.
The Arizona Republic commented:

But, as the recall was in November, this election is as much about style as it is substance. Though gimmicky, Worsley’s campaign slogan to “Elev8 Mesa by 8/28” is what Mesa needs to hear from its elected leaders: That together, we’re capable of great things.

Pearce hasn’t said anything like that, nor will he. Pearce may have pushed for school choice and the “jobs bill,” which will decrease businesses’ taxes over time. But true leadership also means working for consensus, not just choosing whatever fits your personal set of limited-government beliefs.

It’s telling that Mesa Mayor Scott Smith and all six City Council members have endorsed Worsley.

His business acumen and sincere interest in working with others also explains why Worsley has garnered far more individual contributions from people who live in Mesa than Pearce in the most recent reporting period.

They believe it’s time for new leadership that can work with and inspire others. Worsley is that candidate, and that’s why voters should choose him in the Aug. 28 primary election.

Mesa Mayor Scott Smith weighed in with a "My Turn" opinion piece for the Arizona Republic: "Worsley will lead past crossroads."
