Weekly Roundup: July 9-15,
2012
The gap between citizens and the government keeps
getting wider. President Obama has made a habit of bypassing our system of
checks and balances and creating policy without approval, or even input, from
Congress. His new mantra is: if you can’t lead ‘em, ignore ‘em. Such logic is
the very definition of executive overreach.
Congressman Ben Quayle has consistently challenged
the workings of this liberal Administration, demanding more accountability and
transparency. He has been a leader on enforcing border security, hunting for
answers on Fast and Furious, repealing the flawed healthcare law, and limiting
the Administration’s extravagant ambitions for power.
