Andy Tobin, the current Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives, has endorsed Kirk Adams in his bid for Congress. Speaker Tobin said,
"Kirk Adams is a businessman, a former state leader, and a friend. I support him wholeheartedly. I had the opportunity to serve under Kirk's leadership through some of Arizona and our nation's most difficult days. He worked tirelessly to tackle difficult, complex, and often controversial challenges. We need people with that type of mettle and skill in Washington D.C. The voters of CD-5 would be lucky to have a guy like Kirk represent their voice in Congress."
"I am honored to have earned Speaker Tobin's trust and support," said Adams. "Speaker Tobin is committed to the success of his conservative caucus and most importantly to advancing policies that move Arizona forward. Under Speaker Tobin's leadership Arizona is growing jobs and increasing individual liberty."
Kirk Adams is a husband, father, and small business owner. He is a partner at the Adams Agency, which has been ranked the #1 insurance agency by Ranking Arizona. Adams is a life long resident of the East Valley. After joining the state House in 2006, he became so frustrated by the unwillingness and inability of Republicans in the Legislature to stand up for their conservative principles that he launched a long-shot campaign to oust the veteran Speaker of the House. Adams shocked the Republican establishment and political class, winning the Speakership at only 35 years of age. Adams turned the tide in the House and put Arizona back on the path to fiscal responsibility with an aggressive agenda of reform, courageously taking on some of the most challenging issues in Arizona.
