Obama Won't Be Highlighting Obamacare This Week...Wonder Why?

Good morning, when asked whether Obama will be marking the 2-year Obamacare milestone, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Obama talks about Obamacare “on occasion.” Taking a look at the White House guidance for the week, it doesn’t look like the anniversary of his signature accomplishment will be one of those occasions. Guessing they are seeing the same numbers we saw in today’s ABC/WaPo poll showing two thirds of the country wants to ditch some or all of Obamacare.

Associated Press’s Ben Feller: “Friday I believe is the anniversary of the healthcare law. And I’m wondering if we should expect to hear from the president on that milestone which of course comes right before the Supreme Court arguments or would he just as soon not make a public statement about the healthcare law and let outside groups, the campaign and others do the politicking around that issue.”

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney: The president does speak about healthcare on occasion and will continue to do that. But he’s focused on a forward agenda now.
