In Sunday's Arizona Republic 'Poliitical Insider' column, one of our articles from last week, "AZ GOP Hits New Low, Tries to Fundraise off Obama's Uncle" by The Only True Conservative (photo created by IronFist) was mentioned.
The Arizona Republic said:
The Arizona GOP asked supporters to sign the petition and, while they're at it, kick in some money to help the party continue its fight against illegal immigration, noting that Uncle Omar (as he's called) is an illegal immigrant.
That drew a withering critique from the Politico Mafioso website, a mainstream GOP voice that called the petition-with-fundraiser "a hate-fueled, cheap ploy to use this incident to raise money by a pathetic organization that is as bankrupt morally as it is financially."
And it took a jab at Arizona's own politically connected DUI recipient, running a photo of state Sen. Lori Klein over the caption of "Aunt Lori." What a family!
