The past several days we have looked at some holes in SB1331 that needed to be plugged by our Legislature in what we thought would be a future session. In a surprise move Governor Brewer Vetoed SB 1331 and this is what she wrote.

We believe that Senator Antenori, Represenitive Gowen and Stephens were on the right track when they tackled the needed changes but just didn't make some area's clear and concise enough so some of us regular guys and gals could understand it. Working with the Governors office we hope that they will revisit this legislation as it is badly needed to guide future elections and clarify Precinct Committeeman status.
