This to golf fans around the world is like Super Bowl Sunday is to football fans!
The 75th Masters Golf Tournament starts today.
This marks the 25th anniversary of Jack Nicklaus' 6th Masters title at the age of 46. Nicklaus, the greatest golfer ever (sorry Tiger, you couldn't carry Jack's jock strap), won the 1986 Masters with a victory over Greg Norman by 1 shot.
That was the greatest moment in golf history. Yesterday, ESPN had a great special on that victory called "Yes Sir: Jack Nicklaus and the '86 Masters"

Who's going to win the 2011 Masters? Former Scottsdale resident & ASU golfer PHIL MICKELSON is who. Phil won last week's Shell Houston Open in convincing fashion, shooting 63 and 65 in the final two rounds in a runaway win.
The key for Mickelson: Fairways & Greens in Regulation! If Phil goes over 75% in both catagories, he will win easily. The Augusta National is built for Phil's game. He would win his 4th Green Jacket and 2nd in a row.
You can check on all the action by visiting Masters.org. ESPN has the first 2 rounds, CBS picks up the weekend coverage. GO PHIL!
