An Update on Joy Communications

An update to Wednesday's article AZ GOP: It has come to our attention that our website sucks about how the GOP finally realized they are more than a little behind when it comes to their online presence.

Barbara, from American Freedom by Barbara, has two posts that dig into the details of who was actually hired to run the new GOP website.

Among the fun facts she dug up:

• Thayer Verschoor, noted communications and social media expert, is now the AZGOP Communications Director. I must have missed that announcement.

• The President of Joy Communications is Tony Motola, a Democrat with extensive union ties.

• Thayer Verschoor also works for Joy Communications. So his first act as AZ GOP Communications Director was to farm out AZ GOP business to his other employer? That's a sweet gig, if you can get it.

• She also dug up some interesting information on the other players in this twisted saga - Max Fose, John Kaites and past Firefighter Union President Billy Shields. Check it out.

Seriously, people. You have the ability to hold these clowns accountable for their corruption. You are just choosing to be ignorant or lazy. How much more information do you need before you decide to do something about it?
