Notes from the Senate

Last month, President Obama unveiled his budget for the 2012 fiscal year. This was an opportunity for the President to act on the nearly insurmountable debt our country faces and change the dismal economic path our nation we are headed down. Unfortunately the Democrats' budget is more of the same spending policies that we have seen from this Administration and it must be stopped.

The Obama Administration's agenda for our country continues to lead us in the wrong direction. The national debt stands at $14 trillion and we cannot afford to let the Democrats spend any more.

In order to ensure that President Obama's big spending agenda does not pass we need a Republican majority in the Senate. Country First PAC is dedicated to electing candidates to federal office who will join me in the fight against wasteful spending. Your contribution to Country First PAC of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or more will go directly to ensuring we are able to support these candidates.

The President's plan is to mortgage our children's and grandchildren's futures. As families across America are sitting around the kitchen table making substantial cuts across the board to their finances, Washington must do the same. In the Senate, I have always fought hard to abolish earmarks, and other wasteful spending expenditures. My Republican colleagues in the Senate and House have also expressed their disdain for the President's budget, and we will work hard to get the votes to stop it.

By making a donation to Country First PAC today you will send a strong message to Washington that you are fed up with the out-of-control debt and do not support President Obama's budget. Please consider taking action today. Thank you.
