Congressman Flake: H.R. 1 Didn’t Cut Enough Spending

 Further Cuts Are Needed to Escape Fiscal Crisis


Mesa, Arizona – Republican Congressman Jeff Flake, who represents Arizona’s Sixth District, today discussed his decision last week to vote against H.R. 1, the continuing resolution.

"I didn't vote for the CR because it simply didn't go far enough to reduce spending,” said Flake. “We've got to make much deeper cuts to get out of the fiscal hole we're in."
