HORNE EARNS ENDORSEMENT FROM PHOENIX LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATION

Republican Attorney General nominee Tom Horne has earned the endorsement of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association (PLEA), the largest municipal police association in Arizona, representing approximately 2,500 uniformed law enforcement officers.

"We have great confidence in Tom Horne," said PLEA President Mark Spencer. "Tom Horne and the uniformed personnel of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association are moving in the same direction and we look forward to working together when Tom is elected Attorney General."

Horne stated, "I am tremendously gratified to receive this endorsement. To be endorsed by the organization that represents the largest number of municipal police officers in Arizona and which had a major role in the development of S.B. 1070 is a great honor for me. It shows that the people who put their lives on the line to protect the public every day believe in my commitment to support their efforts and to vigorously enforce the law. I want to thank Mark Spencer and all the men and women of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association for putting their trust in me."
