Councilman Bill Gates supports Jim Waring

Dear Fellow Republican,

As we head into the home stretch, we have tremendous momentum and our campaign efforts have been paying enormous dividends.

From day one, I wanted our campaign to focus on the basics: meeting voters and advocating a consistent message of fiscal responsibility, turning our economy around, and protecting our state from illegal immigration.

I've knocked on over 40,000 doors, meeting voters in every corner of our district.

I've told them about my plans and my record of service to Arizona. I proudly sponsored SB 1070 and also sponsored the largest tax cuts in state history.

I also was honored by winning the highest awards from the American Legion and National Guard for my work for veterans.

We have incredible grassroots enthusiasm for this campaign, with dozens of volunteers contacting their friends and neighbors to tell them about our campaign.

And it's working.

But we can't stop now. I ask for your vote by mail-in ballot or at the polls on August 24th. We need to finish strong, and we need your help to do it.

There's no slowing down. I intend to close strong and with your support and vote, bring common sense Arizona conservatism to Washington, DC.

Let's go,

Jim Waring

"Jim Waring has served Arizona with great integrity and distinction, and I am proud to support him to succeed my friend John Shadegg in the United States Congress. Jim has a distinguished record of fighting for the principles of limited government that Arizonans hold dear. I know that Jim will bring the same intelligence, character, and commitment to serving the people of Arizona to Washington that he's demonstrated his entire career — that's exactly what we need in our next Representative."
— U.S. Senator John McCain

"Jim studies each issue and makes informed decisions on behalf of the people. Jim Waring is the most qualified candidate in this field, and the people of Arizona will be well represented by having Jim Waring in Congress."
— Senate President Bob Burns

"Jim Waring is a friend of the taxpayer who will serve honorably for us in Congress. Jim is smart and hard working. He will fight for us in Congress. Most importantly, Jim will never forget who sent him to Washington — the men and women of CD 3."
— Phoenix Councilman Bill Gates
