VETS FOR FREEDOM ENDORSES SENATOR JOHN McCAIN FOR RE-ELECTION

PHOENIX, AZ – U.S. Senator John McCain’s re-election campaign today announced that Vets for Freedom has endorsed Senator John McCain for re-election. Vets for Freedom is the largest Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans organization in America, with over 100,000 members, and is dedicated to advocating for success on the battlefield by educating and influencing the American public, policymakers, and the media on issues of strategy, tactics, and military leadership.

Vets for Freedom supports candidates and policymakers from both sides of the aisle who stand behind this generation's warriors, and who put long-term national security before short-term partisan political gain.

“Senator McCain served our country with courage and bravery on the battlefield, and continues to serve to this day,” said Pete Hegseth, Executive Director of Vets for Freedom and Iraq war veteran. “He understands the threats we face as a nation, and what it takes to ensure our war-fighters and commanders in the field -- especially in Iraq and Afghanistan -- have the resources, strategy, and support they need to win. We need Senator McCain in the United States Senate.”

“I am honored to have the support of Vets for Freedom, the largest Iraq and Afghanistan veterans organization in America,” said Senator John McCain.
“These brave young patriots have been on the front lines protecting our national security, and understand more than most the importance of achieving victory in Iraq, Afghanistan and the war against radical Islamic extremism. America owes them our deepest gratitude
for their courageous service, and I am proud to stand with them.”

It is easy to endorse a man who has the courage and integrity to fight for our Nation. He is leaps and bounds ahead of JD in respected endorsements and backing...that is by no accident. McCain is the best candidate for this seat. JD has too many moral and unethical issues, not to mention a failed history in Washington.
