March 23, 2010Campaign staff and volunteers of Sen. John McCain and his former vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin are preparing for the pair’s appearance at Mesa’s Dobson High School on Saturday.

A spokesman for the camp offered a bit of advice for those wanting to get in:
“Folks should get there early,” said Brian Rogers, McCain’s communications director.The event is free, on a first-come, first-served basis and does not require a ticket.
The gymnasium can accommodate about 2,000 people but an online RSVP at www.johnmccain.com/sarah, has received more than 2,000 RSVPs already, according to Rogers.
Doors are scheduled to open for the crowd at 7:30 a.m., and the rally is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Dobson High is located at 1501 W. Guadalupe Road.McCain is seeking his fifth consecutive term in the U.S. Senate and running against J.D. Hayworth in the Republican primary on Aug. 24.
Also speaking at a rally in Tucson on Friday, the appearances are McCain and Palin’s first ones together at a public event since their concession speech in the 2008 presidential race.
Their appearance comes just four days after President Barack Obama signed a $938 billion health care reform bill. McCain has been an outspoken critic of the bill and plans to lead an effort to repeal it.
Palin, the former governor of Alaska, is stumping for McCain. She will speak about McCain’s values and what she learned from him during their 2008 presidential campaign and through his battles against his own party line, Rogers said.
McCain will speak about what he appreciates in Palin’s leadership, and speak out against what he believes are misguided priorities in the White House including government overspending, his concerns for the 17 percent unemployment rate in Arizona and the state’s home foreclosure problem as 48 percent of homeowners in Arizona are under water, according to Rogers.
“Not to hash over the 2008 presidential election, but Senator McCain and Governor Palin have a case to make that some of the predictions they made during the campaign were right,” Rogers said.

I realize McCain may not want to say, "I told you this would happen" but he needs to. The people of this state and of the Nation need to hear him clearly, say again, what he predicted. He is clearly the man we need in Washington fighting this healthcare bill that he has fought all along. He has the knowledge, the tenacity and the power to continue pushing against this govt takeover.
Keep fighting against the blowhard, big ego, immoral, corrupt JD! We need McCain to win this election! JD needs to figure out his legal bills, he has enough corruption, he is not wanted in Washington!
