To Arizona GOP leaders...........Please take a few moments to get familiar with South Carolina State GOP Chairman , Katon Dawson , who has announced his intention to run for the RNC Chair position.
Katon and I have worked together at the RNC and we have spoken frequently over the past several months about the need for the RNC to better support our state parties and candidates.
He brings his outsider view points to the position he has also been a very successful state party chairman in South Carolina. I have observed him to be a shrewd political operative with good instincts and excellent organizational and fund raising success. Don't be fooled by the accent or the youthful looks. In my experience working with Katon Dawson he is a bull dog. \
He is fiercely committed ( like the others ) to our success and believes we will win future elections only if we stick to our conservative principles.
Katon Dawson is a life long South Carolinian. He operates a successful family business in South Carolina and throughout the southeast . As with all of the others Mr Dawson would move to Washington DC to run the day to day operations of the committee if he is elected to this post. He is neither interested in running for public office nor is he a supporter of any presidential aspirant.
Katon has put together his FOX News interview and I have also included Mr Dawson's action plan in the attached pieces.I am interested in receiving feed back from you on all of the RNC candidates. This is an important decision that will impact us for many years to come.
