Observations from Haley Barbour

To Arizona Republican leaders--From 1993 until 1996 now Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour served with distinction as RNC Chair.

I hope you will read this excellent article about the opportunities we have in 2009 and how they compare with the outlook we faced in 1993 when a young , dynamic Democrat President moved into the White House , Democrats dominated both house of congress and GOP prospects looked bleak.

I believe we can all see our way forward over the next couple of years but it's going to take alot of hard work. True , we are looking for new leadership at the top but as the article strongly suggests the true strength of our party rises from the grass roots of our party. Let's unite and get behind the Grand Old Party and transform us into the Greater Opportunity Party.
