It’s been a great and busy week, and I wanted to take a timeout to let you know about some of the exciting happenings on the campaign. Last week’s debate might have been the most widely covered event of the campaign so far, but it has been my meetings with RNC Members that have been the most inspiring.
Just last week, I visited almost a dozen states— from Missouri to South Dakota —talking with Republican National Committee Members about how together we can build the Republican Party.
The more time I get to spend with the RNC Members, the more I am encouraged about the future of our Party. Our grassroots activists and state leaders are ready to take action—and so am I. I’m geared up to restore the American people’s faith our Party, invest in our grassroots, and take advantage of 21st century technologies to communicate our message.
I’ll check in again soon. In the meantime, thank you for your support and for your commitment to our Party.
Michael Steele Endorsed by Florida GOP Chairman Greer
Last week, Michael picked up a BIG endorsement: Florida Republican Party Chairman Jim Greer. At a press conference last Wednesday, Michael appeared with Chairman Greer, and both spoke about the need to rebuild our Party. In a statement, Greer said:
“Michael has everything that the GOP desperately needs right now: the ability to communicate our message from a fresh point of view, an appreciation of how we can use technology to build the Party, and the ability to reach out to new voters.”
You can read more about the endorsement here.
Take 5 minutes to pledge your time and money to your state Party. You can turn your desire to rebuild our Party into action. State Party organizations are the beating heart of our movement, and they need your support. Show them you’re ready to get to work by clicking here.
News from the Road
This past Friday, Michael was in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where he spoke with Brown County Republicans, and outlined his plans to rebuild our Party. On Saturday, Michael joined the Nebraska Republican Party as they elected Mark Fahleson their new Chairman.
