Local BFF Horse & Cart Legislators, Sam Crump & Carl Seel, carry campaign tradition into 2009

Following the announcement of the AZ House Committee assignments, Legislative District 6 Representatives Sam Crump-R and Carl Seel-R will get to make more sweet, sweet music together in the Military Affairs and Public Safety Committee when the new session begins in January 2009.

This co-dependent duo can now host weekly constituent breakfasts called “Coffee, Crumpets, Camo & Cameras”. Maybe we can talk them into a little impromptu soft-shoe after all of the carbs and caffeine do their thing. Something like this:

Many of the new House committee assignments included a freshman legislator in the Vice-Chair position, but frosh Representative Seel neglected to make the cut for a VC slot on any of the 15 House committees. Freshman Steve Montenegro-R12, muse of Jerry Weiers-R12, was selected to be the Vice Chair of the Government Committee, now chaired by LD6’s own “Representative Beautiful” Sam Crump-R.

I wonder if Seel will find time in his schedule to be a Legislator? I hear he plays Poker 4 to 5 nights a week? Is that true?

Are you kidding me? I didn't believe it when I heard it but it's hard to ignore now.

One night before Thanksgiving, my neighbor went to the local dive to play darts but there was a poker game there instead. He recognized one of the players from the political campaign mail that flooded his mailbox. I guess the guy looked like he'd just come from the office - but it was late at night! He said that the poker guy reminded him of Alfred E. Neuman.

BINGO!

I said it must be Carl Seel but then said NO WAY. He won the election didn't he? What an idiot he must be to get busted at a dingy, dark, dive tavern.
