Today we released an important strategy briefing from campaign manager Rick Davis outlining the current political climate and John McCain's path to victory. Voters know who John McCain is and they understand that he has the experience necessary to lead our country. He continues to lead in key states with voters who are concerned about the big issues. We have a long road ahead, but John McCain is the best prepared candidate to lead our country and will win in November. Click here to watch the presentation and learn more.
Citizens for McCain
Citizens for McCain is a new grassroots organization within our campaign for people who put country before political party and support the candidate for president who has a proven record of bipartisanship. Senator Joe Lieberman formed this group because of his strong belief in John McCain's character, judgment and willingness to work with leaders of both parties. We are all Americans, and we have an obligation to do what is best for our nation regardless of political party.
Time and time again John McCain has put his country first. From refusing early release when he was held captive in Vietnam to his courage to stand up to the failed Iraq war plan, his choices were not always the easy things to do. In fact, they were usually very difficult, and often threatened his political career. But John McCain did what was right.
John McCain knows he will be the president of all Americans, not just the ones that vote for him. No matter what party you belong to or who you supported during the primary campaign, we want you to be part of our team. A Leader We Can Believe In
With an official opponent in Democrat Barack Obama, the general election campaign is underway. On Tuesday night in New Orleans, John McCain outlined his vision for our country and the significance of the great debate we are about to engage in.
Over the next five months, John McCain and Senator Obama will debate the future direction of our country. In the end, the American people will recognize that John McCain is a leader we can believe in, ready to act to protect our country, grow our economy and reform our government.
In this election, Americans will have a choice between the right change that will move our country forward and the wrong change that will take us backward. No matter who wins this election, the direction of this country is going to change dramatically.

The Decision Center
The general election has begun and voters must decide which candidate has the experience and the judgment necessary to lead our country in these difficult times. John McCain is the best prepared candidate, and his record proves it.
This week we launched The Decision Center to compare and contrast John McCain to Barack Obama on critical issues facing our nation. This is a change election, but the choice is between the right change and the wrong change; between going forward and going backward.
