THANK YOU JOHN SHADEGG!!!

As a constituent living in Arizona Congressional District 3, I want to personally thank Congressman John Shadegg for his nearly 14 years of service to our community and to the state of Arizona. His leadership in Congress has been a tremendous boost to the state of Arizona. Had Congressman Shadegg been elected the Leader in the US House, Republicans might not be in the situation they are in now.

John Shadegg has protected the tax payers over his career, especially over the 'earmarks' that have been in the national news lately.

Shadegg has always been popular in this district; last time he got over 59% of the vote. And the
liberal blogs have been going crazy today.....sorry guys but the last internal poll done by the Shadegg camp had him up by over 31 points over challenger Bob Lord.

Speaking of Bob Lord, bet he was relieved this afternoon when Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon held a Press Conference and said he would NOT be a candidate for the CD-3 House.

This move by Congressman Shadegg will be shown to be a
brilliant strategic move in the weeks and months to come.

Shadegg's Replacement?

All kinds of rumors and rumblings on who is going to run to replace Congressman Shadegg. Here is the short list of contenders on the GOP side:

1. Sean Noble - Shadegg's longtime Chief-of-Staff. Sean would make a wonderful Congressman. He is not as well known by the general public, but those in politics know Sean well.

2. Jim Waring - State Senator from LD-7. Former John McCain staffer.
Waring has amassed over $160,000 in his campaign chest, so he has a good start on a Congressional run.

3. Jim Weiers - Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives from LD-10. Weiers has a war chest similar to Waring's. Might be easier for him to win here than in his own LD-10.

4. Ed Winkler - Mayor of Paradise Valley. Basically endorsed by the SA & SRA Blogs (the kiss of death), he will make this an interesting race.
