Willard Romney's "victory" in the NV Primary yesterday doesn't really mean much. According to a friend of mine, a long time Nevada political person, the Delegates won yesterday are NOT pledged. Normally in NV, they will switch at the convention to whoever the nominee will be.
Another very interesting fact......the NV GOP Caucus numbers were raw vote totals. The 22,000 votes Willard received were actual votes. The D's in NV had over 116,000 people vote in their Caucus. Those vote totals they showed on TV were NOT actual votes. I talked to people yesterday who were at the NV Caucus in both Reno & Las Vegas. The D's were much more energized than the GOP, and that should be a warning signal. Nevada used to be a Red state. The influx of new residents, especially from Southern California, has changed the politcal dynamic in NV. Used to be, Reno (Northern part of NV) was strong GOP (they still are). But Clark County (LV) is now 67% of the NV electorate. And they are becoming more D everyday.

Hey that is the kind of news I love to hear. Sounds like a McCain swoop to me.
