The McCain Update - December 15, 2007

The "McCain Surge" continues in the final weeks before the primaries begin, and the momentum is growing. Polls consistently show that John McCain is the strongest candidate to defeat the Democrats in the general election, and it is becoming increasingly clear that there is a clear path to win the GOP nomination as well. John McCain can and will win the Republican Primary.

The compressed calendar makes this election very different from past cycles. John McCain is best positioned to capture the momentum early and finish strong.
With rising poll numbers in New Hampshire, John McCain is best positioned to capitalize on a Romney defeat in Iowa – defeating him in New Hampshire, winning Michigan and South Carolina, and going on to sweep Florida and the Super Tuesday states.

Our party must nominate a candidate who can win the general election, giving us the opportunity to restore trust, cut taxes, control spending, and win the war against radical Islamic extremism. John McCain is that candidate and is the only person who can be commander in chief on day 1. Please forward this email to your family and friends today.
