He is co-inventor of CRA, and he earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1987. Dooley is a Professor of Supply Chain Management at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Prof. Dooley's research interests lie in the areas of complex human systems. He has consulted with over 100 companies in the areas of quality, organizational change, and innovation, including Intel, Motorola, Raytheon, Honeywell, 3M, Citibank, and Ford.
