This is the 40th Anniversary of our Phoenix Suns NBA team. I remember attending the 1st game in their history (I was 8 years old). Wow have times changed. The Suns have what I think is their strongest team since the 1993 Final team (Charles Barkley & all).
With ALL NBA 1st Teamer AMARE' STOUDEMIRE, 2 Time NBA MVP STEVE NASH, & SHAWN MARION the Suns have 3 proven Stars. Newcomer GRANT HILL brings his veteran experience, Rookies D.J. STRAWBERRY & ALANDO TUCKER will provide need depth.
The Suns will run more than ever with this squad. Looks like they will be rotating at least 8 players deep which should help in the Playoffs.
Now before 'someone' calls me a Homer (sorry TR, Marana doesn't have an NBA Team; maybe someday....The Marana Mud Wamps?),
I have been rooting for the Phoenix Suns since they joined the NBA.
Here is my prediction: SUNS win the NBA Title by defeating the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. I believe this is the best chance for the SUNS even though the Western Conference has at least 8 strong teams. Unless injuries hit this team, I think the SUNS will runaway with the Pacific Division and beat the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals. Final record: 65 - 17.

Bad news for TonyHOMERprano...TR's NBA team is the Suns.
I grew up in the Pacific NW rooting for the Sonics (they seem headed for OK City) & the Blazers (before they were the jailblazers) when they had Clyde Drexler.
The Suns have earned my support. They make the deals and they run a great system.
I'd a figured that TontHOMERprano would have picked an undefeated season...I'm disappointed.
