Teenagers often get a bad rap. Adults sometimes expect them to be all about them, but you'll change your tune when you meet our next Something Good Spirit Award winner.
Sweet music and youthful enthusiasm are in the air at a Valley senior center thanks to a group of young visitors, led by Courtney Braswell and Rachel Folsom.
"We started off just me and Rachel and two otherCourtney Braswell said.

The girls got the idea while on a church trip to Canada and have been visiting the Desert Spring Senior Living Center ever since, hosting craft segments, putting on concerts, and visiting with appreciative residents.
It's an experience the teens seem to enjoy as much as the seniors, and that's their key to philanthropy.
"Find something you're passionate about, find something that you have fun doing and you really get to a point you just enjoy it, you look forward to it, and you can't wait to get back in here," Rachel said.
"They love it,"
Courtney said.
"I guess a lot of people don't come to visit them a lot so when we
come, they are just ecstatic to see us. It's like opening presents when you're a
little kid for Christmas. "
