On Wednesday, a critical new poll was released by FOX News/Opinion Dynamics Poll and shows that John McCain is the Republican candidate best positioned to beat Hillary Clinton. In a matchup against Hillary Clinton, John McCain performs better than any other Republican candidate - down 3 points. In short, John McCain can win and can do so without turning back on the principles that have served our party well for decades.
These polls mean that John McCain's experienced leadership, courageous service and the bold solutions he is proposing on the campaign trail are resonating with the American people. We need your help to continue getting this message out to all Republicans -

your support is more important than ever.
Please make a contribution of $25, $50 or even $200 today to support John McCain and to help us communicate with voters that he is the most prepared to not only lead our country, but defeat Hillary Clinton as well. What They Are Saying
National Review: "A Second Look At McCain" - "...Republicans seeking to keep their party's base intact, while appealing to independents in order to have a shot at defeating Hillary, are taking another look at John McCain. A veteran GOP congressional aide who has been a critic of McCain, most recently on the issue of immigration, recently surprised himself by concluding that the Arizona senator would be the best general-election candidate." (Kate O'Beirne, October 18, 2007)
Christian Science Monitor: "John McCain: Keeping Faith, On His Own Terms" - "John McCain does not believe in destiny. God, he says, gives us life, shows us how to use it, and leaves it to us to carry out as we choose... But Senator McCain, now in the thick of his second run for the Republican presidential nomination, does believe that he is still alive for a purpose. 'There is no logical reason for me to be on earth, if you look at my life, so I should spend this time trying to serve a cause greater than myself,' says McCain in a Monitor interview." (Linda Feldman, October 17, 2007)
