Robert (Bob) Glovitz graduated with honors from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Business Administration, and received a Juris Doctor from American University in Washington, D. C. Glovitz was a licensed attorney in New York (inactive) and Ohio (inactive). Glovitz is a Certified Public Accountant and currently maintains an inactive status.
Glovitz is a lifelong entrepreneur. His most recent endeavors are Sierra Auction Management, Inc., and as acting as a Director of TrustBank, a 90 year old community bank that recently began operations in Arizona. Previously Glovitz founded Automated Dispatch Systems, a software firm that specializes in field service applications. In 1998 ADS placed 85th on the Deloitte and Touche Fast 500 list (AOL was No. 84). Glovitz sold the firm in 2004. Glovitz is a 4 time finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He is currently is President of Cortez Financial Ventures, Inc., a private investment entity.
Bob and his wife Cheryl are the parents of two sons, Blake and Adam. Bob has served as a spokesperson for the National Center for Policy Analysis. Bob is the former Chairman of the federally chartered charity, The Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation, a position he was appointed to by President George W. Bush.
