In a live News Conference just a few minutes ago, Senator JOHN WARNER (R) from Virginia, announced he will NOT run for re-election in 2008. Warner, who will have served over 30 years when his term is up in 2009, is the 2nd longest serving Senator.
This could hurt Republican's chances to take back the Senate in 2008. Will be a contested primary with one of the candidates to be Jim Gilmore, former VA governor & 2008 Candidate for President. Stay Tuned....
