Now that this crazy race for GOP State Chairman is almost over, maybe now we can get to the real important issues like..
the Super Bowl?
Just Kidding!!! This race, which everyone I know agrees has been the most contested race for GOP Chairman ever, seemed almost like a contest for governor or president with all the e-mails, the phone calls, the web sites, the Blogs.
Here is a small sample of some of the e-mails we have received:
"I've known Lisa since working with her in Sen. Kyl's office for the 2000 Victory Campaign. Lisa has been an inspiration to all who work with her. She is warm and positive. If you cannot do the task assigned, she finds something you can do. All are welcome - including children! I've seen them collating and stapling under their mother's guidance, learning about "grassroots" efforts at a very early age! It was the same warmth and welcome during the 2004 Bush Campaign. Lisa can and has gotten all facets of the Party involved - both grassroots and "money" people." Bev Cuthbertson - State Committeeman - LD-6
Another State Committeman writes:
"Lisa James is who we must have to bring The Republican Party back to serving the concern and needs of all Republicans. The Party used to be the one that welcomed everyone, not just the chosen few, who have decided that only people who agree 100% with their chosen few views are allowed to be part of party leadership.
Respect of others opinions and idea's must again be the standard of our party. Not compromise of ones core values but a respect of others and work together on the mutual goals of the party. This is what makes Republicans different than Democrats.
What the other candidate has proven he will do is continue to follow the demands of these very few so called Republicans who really are Libertarians who cannot get elected as such and are trying to take over the Republican Party for their own use.
It is time to take back our party and Lisa James has proven she can work with ALL Republicans and just the chosen few.
Vote and then support our New Arizona Republican party Chair Lisa James, EVERYONE's Chair."
One more wrote:
"I read the letter of from Mr. Jim Click from Tucson on behalf of support for Lisa James, and I have to say Mr. Glick is a man after my heart. He’s made of the same stock I’m made. He calls the shots as he sees them and is not afraid to put his name under his statements, all valid observations.
This is in stark contrast to her detractors wasting the Lords time yapping meaningless but nasty accusations and signing off with unidentifiable pseudonyms.
Jim Glick & I are both in agreement that we both would continue to support the GOP, but when it comes to writing checks, many out there in GOP land will be hesitant. I fully agree with him on that one."
From all the items posted on the different Blogs, I found this posted yesterday on the 'Sonoran Alliance' Blog that really sums up this whole race:

" have never done this before, what a time to start! After reading this stuff for a few weeks if I could I would vote for Lisa James. The way I see it, you have to be a certain kind of person to be OK according to the Pullen crowd. They take the words of others and do things that reminds me of the way Pedersen did Sen. Kyl. Twist it around because they don’t have anything of value to say but want the other guy to look bad.
When someone who seems to be in tight with Pullen calls Jim Click on the carpet and uses the word ultimatum because the guy sent a letter stating his personal opinion, this is America! That told me all I would need to know.
I’ve never tried to tell people how to think, I always thought God gave us all a brain, they could do OK without my help but if I knew how to get the word out to the people who can vote, I’d tell every one of them to stear clear of this type of wacko
Well it is clear I don’t know how to do this that was not finished, here is the rest.
The attitude of the Pullen crowd reminds me of the stuff Pedersen tried to pull on Sen. Kyl. Take something and turn it around to make the other guy look bad because you don’t have anything good to say about your man.
But when someone who seems to be pretty tight with Pullen calls Jim Click out an uses the word ultimatum because the guy expressed his opinion, this is America! That did it for me"
I don't think we want what the Democrats want?
Some of the other Blogs are calling this race for Pullen. My prediction is this. In a close race, LISA JAMES will be elected the new Chairman of the Republican Party in Arizona. The momentum seems to be going her way; she will make a fantastic State Chairman. Lisa will be a Full-Time Chairman, something we have needed for a long time.
