Hotazitgets http://hotazitgets.com/ reports on today's Republic article about the staff of the AZ GOP resigning. They speculate that reasons could include their loyalty to McCain (not likely), their loyalty to the RNC (again, not likely) and their fear of being fired (not likely, three strikes you're out Hot!)
Anyone who has spent anytime at the GOP HQ knows that the staff were dedicated, hard working professionals. Word is that Pullen had spoken with each of them individually prior to the Chairman election and assured them that they could keep their jobs (Glenn Hamer, who was ED, left in November, so that givesPullen the opportunity to fill that post with his own person).
Party staff can be as cyclical as elections, so it shouldn't be a surprise that there is turnover. It is interesting that there is a wholesale clearing out. Given the amount of time Pullen spent down at Party HQ last year, the staff knows Pullen well, and when he offered to have them stay, they said, "no thank you."
