On Monday night's Horizon TV Show, the candidates for AZ Superintendent of Public Instruction debated. Jason Williams, a 29 year old so called teacher (if you call 2 years as a Union official a teacher?) who attempted to 'debate' Tom Horne on a variety of items. Each time, Horne stepped up to the plate and delivered. An example: When Mr. Williams tried to label Tom Horne as a 'lawyer", Horne fought back with his laundry list of experience in Education here in Arizona; 26 + years on a School Board, and was President of that Board for 10 years. Williams sat there like a deer in the headlights. My wife, a teacher in AZ for more than 30 + years, likes what Tom Horne had to say. Great Job Tom! You really kicked some butt tonight!!!
