In response to the strong attendance and high level of interest at the many town halls, held by Senator McCain in recent weeks, he will be holding two additional town halls on Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st.

He will take questions from fellow Arizonans and will provide updates on the current health care debate, Afghanistan, our economy, government spending and many other topics.

We also wanted to share with you some exciting news. Thanks to the help of supporters all across Arizona, John McCain ended the third quarter of 2009 with $5 million dollars cash on hand for his re-election efforts.

Here are some highlights from a recent article in the East Valley Tribune.

Sen. John McCain ended the third quarter with 500 times more cash on hand — $5 million in all — than his closest declared Republican rival, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission."He's clearly on the path to continue raising money in a
substantial amount," said Frederic Solop, a Northern Arizona University political science professor.
