GOP House Speaker Andy Tobin is my
newsmaker guest this weekend on the "12 News Sunday Square Off" preview of the
2013 legislative session that starts Monday.
Legislation to stem gun violence is at the
top of the new agenda, part of the state's response to the Newtown school
massacre.
Tobin questions how and why House Minority
Leader Chad Campbell (D-Phoenix) filed a $260 million bill last week that
touches on gun control, mental health care and school safety. Tobin, who favors
beefing up services for the mentally ill, said Campbell should have talked to
him first.
