Democrat’s new ad ignores Carmona’s support of
Obamacare
PHOENIX –
Democratic Senate candidate Richard Carmona has a new ad on the air saying that
both sides got it wrong on health care. Apparently, he thinks that Arizonans
have a short memory.
It was
just earlier this year when Richard Carmona announced his support for Obamacare,
even going so far as to say that President Obama was “brave” for passing it.

“It’s
no surprise that Richard Carmona would run away from his support of Obamacare,
but what is surprising is how quickly he’s flipped his
position,”
said Andrew Wilder, communications director for Flake for Senate. “Given that Obamacare cuts $716 billion
from Medicare, it’s no wonder why Arizonans overwhelmingly oppose
it.”
Jeff Flake voted against
Obamacare and supports its repeal. He
favors commonsense healthcare reforms that will improve quality and control
costs by using market forces to increase
competition.
Unlike
Richard Carmona, who would be a rubber stamp for President Obama’s agenda, Jeff
Flake will provide a check and balance on President Obama and congressional
Democrats.
