BRUCE ASH ON THE DNC CONVENTION!

THE BIG TAKE AWAY FROM THE DEMOCRAT NATIONAL CONVENTION WON'T BE BILL CLINTON'S SPEECH . OR EVEN THE PRESIDENT'S ACCEPTANCE ADDRESS.

WHAT AMERICAN VOTERS WILL GET ( AT LEAST THE FEW AMERICANS WHO ACTUALLY COULD STAND TO WATCH THE PROCEEDINGS ON TV ) IS JUST HOW FAR LEFT THE DEMOCRAT PARTY HAS BECOME AND HOW SO MANY OF THEM APPARENTLY LIVE IN AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE FROM THE REST OF US.

TO MAKE THIS POINT WE KNOW IT TOOK THREE MESSY FLOOR VOTES TO ADD "GOD" BACK INTO THEIR PLATFORM AND JEERS FILLED THE HALL WHEN IT WAS DECIDED WHETHER OR NOT JERUSALEM WAS IN FACT THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL. I'M STILL NOT SURE IF THEY WERE IN AGREEMENT .THIS HARDLY SOUNDS LIKE THE PARTY OF FDR , TRUMAN AND JFK TO ME.

THE OTHER TAKE AWAY IS THE DEMOCRAT PARTY HAS TOLD US PAID ABORTIONS FOR ALL HAS BECOME SYNONOMOUS WITH "LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL." SANDRA FLUKE, THAT INNOCENT LAW SCHOOL STUDENT, HAS BECOME THE THE LEFT'S SPOKESPERSON NOT JUST FOR ABORTION ON DEMAND BUT FOR FEDERALLY PAID ABORTIONS FOR EVERYONE.

IT SHOULD BE POINTED OUT THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN COULD HAVE WEIGHED IN ON ALL OF THESE ISSUES TO AVOID CONTROVERSY AND PRESENT A MORE MAINSTREAM AGENDA BUT DIDN'T

BUT LET'S NOT FORGET THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THIS CONVENTION.

IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID. BILL CLINTON KNEW THAT WHEN HE SERVED. WE SIMPLY ARE NOT BETTER OFF THAN WE WERE FOUR YEARS AGO AND REPEATING THE SAME BRAIN DEAD PRESIDENTIAL POLICIES WON'T SOLVE ANY OF OUR PROBLEMS EITHER.
