McCain Calls Sepulveda "Best Candidate to Serve Arizona's 9th District"
Phoenix, AZ - Today, Martin Sepulveda, Republican candidate for Congressional District 9, announced that Senator John McCain endorsed him for Congress.

"Martin Sepulveda is the best candidate to serve Arizona's new 9th District in Congress, and I am proud to support him," said Senator John McCain. "As a small businessman and veteran of four combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, Martin brings the kinds of life experience we so badly need in Washington to get our economy moving again while strengthening our national security. Martin is also the only candidate who has been elected to public office by citizens in this District, having served two terms on the Chandler City Council. From his time in the military to his public service, Martin has committed himself to causes greater than his own self interest. That's a quality we need more of in Congress these days, and that's why I'm supporting Martin Sepulveda."

"It's been a pleasure to serve my community as a Chandler City Councilman and our nation as a military officer in time of war," said Martin Sepulveda. "I'm honored to have Senator McCain's endorsement. The 9th District consists of the same East Valley communities Senator McCain represented when he was first elected to Congress."

Martin Sepulveda is a seventh-generation Arizonan who serves his country, state and community in many different capacities. He is a combat Veteran, small businessman, community leader and devoted family man. Martin and his wife Sheree have lived in Chandler for the past 24 years. Their daughter Natalie is a graduate of the University of Arizona and their son Marc is a Navy Reserve Corpsman who is also a combat Veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan.
