Biden’s comments last time he was in Maumee, OH and the trillions in debt the

RNC Releases: "Obama-Biden Hypocrisy on Debt"
WASHINGTON
- The
Republican National Committee releases "Obama-Biden
Hypocrisy on Debt" a reminder of the Obama/Biden "promise gap" when it comes
to spending. In 2008, when Joe Biden visited Maumee, Ohio, he was puzzled about
the size of the national debt. Today, when Barack Obama goes to the very town
where Biden once asked 'Who are these guys?' the president can tell them it was
under their administration that America had three consecutive trillion dollar
deficits and added over $5 trillion to the national debt.

"There
is a Grand Canyon size 'promise gap' between what Vice President Biden said
about spending the last time he was in Maumee, Ohio and what he and President
Obama have actually done in office," said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. "America
needs Governor Romney who has a record of turning deficits into surpluses and
knows what it means to make a payroll. We need to send him to Washington to get
our spending under control and country back on track."
