Bob Worsley Receives Endorsement of Full Mesa City Council and Mayor

Mesa, Ariz. – Today, Mesa City Councilmen Alex Finter, and Chris Glover, along with Councilwoman Dina Higgins announced their endorsements of Bob Worsley, Mesa businessman, SkyMall founder, and Republican candidate for the open state senate seat in District 25. Bob Worsley has now received endorsements of the full Mesa City Council and Mesa Mayor Scott Smith.
Councilman Chris Glover said:
"We need leaders with the courage to make hard choices for the long-term benefit of our great state. Bob Worsley has shown that kind of courage throughout his career in the private sector. Bob is the leader that we now need to represent Mesa. His experience in business, his passion for reform and for common-sense conservative solutions make him the best candidate for this seat and I am proud to support him."

"Bob Worsley is well qualified to be Mesa's next state senator. He understands the unique rolls that the state and city play,” said Councilwoman Dina Higgins. “Bob recognizes the rights of cities to govern themselves and understands that the state budget cannot be balanced with funds that belong to the cities. He's a problem-solver who wants to go to the state capitol to get things done and improve our state. I'm happy to offer him my support."
And Councilman Alex Finter said:
"What Arizona and Mesa needs now is real leadership and fresh ideas. Bob Worsley will bring his successful business background and entrepreneurial ideas to the Arizona State Senate. As elected officials, we have a responsibility to focus on creating new jobs and finding ways to improve the health of our economy. I am confident that Bob Worsley will make this his priority for Mesa and will be an outstanding senator. I am glad to offer my endorsement."
Bob Worsley added: “Our campaign to elevate Mesa and the priorities of the senate gains more momentum everyday. It’s truly humbling to receive the endorsements of the full Mesa City Council and Mesa Mayor Scott Smith. I’ve had a chance to speak with each council member individually and I know we share a common goal of elevating the conduct and expectations of our elected officials, and to elevate the things we work on in the Arizona senate. We need to get back to business and focus on what’s great about Mesa and this great state of Arizona. “
