Arizona Sports Icon Danny White Endorses Bob Worsley for Senate







Super Bowl Champion and Native Arizonan Calls Worsley a Problem Solver



Mesa, Ariz. – Bob Worsley, Mesa businessman, SkyMall founder, and Republican candidate for the open state senate seat in district 25, received the endorsement of Arizona sports legend Danny White today.






White is a graduate of Westwood High School in Mesa who, after being named All-American during his time at Arizona State University’s quarterback, played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1976 to 1988. White was selected for the Pro Bowl in 1982 and won Super Bowl XII with the Cowboys in 1978. After leaving the Cowboys, White went on to coach the Arizona Rattlers arena football team, winning the ArenaBowl Championship in 1994 and 1997.




“I’ve known Bob Worsley for more than twenty years now. He is an entrepreneur and has an incredible ability to see a problem and fix it. His mind is always looking for solutions,” said White. “Rarely do we get a chance to elect someone we can be proud to call our senator. I offer my enthusiastic support of Bob Worsley for state senate.”

Worsley has been an east valley resident for 32 years and has been married to his wife Christi for 35 years. They have 6 children and 16 grandchildren. At age 32, Worsley founded SkyMall, the in-flight magazine.


Worsley will use his business experience to find common sense solutions to the state’s problems, to strengthen our local economy and to create an environment that will lead to job creation.
