VERNON PARKER nearly $1 million in debt, Paradise Valley home in foreclosure auction May 11th

Vernon Parker recently announced his candidacy for the US Congress, AZ District 9 – despite not living in the district. He’s publicly said he’ll move. Now we know why.

Just weeks before publicizing his run for higher office again this year, Parker’s mortgage company announced that his Paradise Valley home will be auctioned off May 11, 2012 due to foreclosure.

A Notice of Trustee’s Sale was filed with the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office by foreclosure servicer, Quality Loan Service Corp., on February 10, 2012.

According to documents filed with the MCRO, Parker has an outstanding first mortgage of $417,000 and a subordinate loan on the same home in the amount of $500,000.

The secondary HELOC loan was modified from a modest $20,000 note to a whopping $500,000 note in 2007, just prior to Parker’s current four-year gig as a perennial candidate.

Let the fundraising begin.
