Running for First Vice-Chairman is former Senate President RUSSELL PEARCE! Pearce, who was the 1st Arizona Legislator EVER Recalled, lost by 12% to now Sen. Jerry Lewis in the November 8, 2011 Recall Election.
(Funny that the Bylaws of the AZ GOP call for a 10 day written notice to the meeting) NONE of the State Committeeman I have spoken to received a written notice.
Russell Pearce will win this election because many of the longtime State Committeeman I have spoken to will NOT vote for his opponent! Reason? Because many of the 'backers' of that 'slate were the same people who put up Robert Graham in the last race for State Chairman. (I don't have to name them, they know WHO they are) Graham's votes allowed Tom Morrissey to become State Chairman & this has NEVER sat well with many Committeeman!
The Seeing Red Peeing Red & Sonoran Moron Alliance Blogs have reported today that Chairman Tom Morrissey has endorsed Russell Pearce!
But here is the real news from all of this. Several relaible sources tell PM that once Russell Pearce is elected, Tom Morrissey will then step down & let Pearce take over the AZ GOP!
You thought things were bad under Morrissey, wait till Russell Pearce takes over! God Help Us!

Shouldn't the chairman of the party be neutral? Why would he endorse anyone? Shouldn't he be able and willing to work with anyone who is elected?
