Statement by Governor Jan Brewer
Wishing Arizona Families a Happy Holiday Weekend

“With the most blessed time of year upon us, I would like to wish my fellow Arizonans a merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah.

“As we celebrate this festive season with our friends and family, I ask that you take a moment to send warm thoughts and prayers to our heroes in uniform who will not make it home to their loved ones this holiday. To the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice this year, and to those who continue to serve so that we may live in freedom: Thank you. You are in our hearts.

“I wish everyone a joyous and bountiful holiday full of family, friends and faith. As Arizonans, we have much to be thankful for, and much to look forward to in the New Year. Happy holidays!
