When the Government Ignores the Law By HJS

HJS Comments: According to the attached article, how many smart-alec State Officials and Leftist Federal Officials, ignoring their oaths, are felons and can be prosecuted? How many well-meaning but skewed-brain clerics were way off-base when making it so much easier for people who do not belong here to be smuggled in anyway. You know, pausing for a moment or two, I am not aware of any hurdle in the way of Mexicans to prevent them from applying for entrance to this wonderful country, just as other people from other lands do--the right way. But then again, I can hardly blame some of the poor people for taking advantage of the broken system when so many unindicted co-conspirators in high places and a few low places create the conditions to make the criminal enterprises look legitimate and even humane. It was not humane that KJ (only one of the true stories about Americans losing out) lost his growing company of professional carpet installers because carpet companies suddenly had thousands of non-professional unskilled illegal aliens (take the word "undocumented" and shove it!) to mangle the installation. If the homeowner complained about the installation, the fix was easy; the carpet company refunded the installation fee and did not pay the illegals who installed it. Everyone lost. The homeowner had a botched installation (although it was now free, it was still botched). The company lost what he had added to the installation fee. And the illegal aliens did not get paid for the botched job. None of it is the American Way, it is the way of smugglers, bootleggers, and rustlers along the Owlhoot Trail. US Federal Government Negates 1952 Immigration Law Still On The Books

Gov't Negates Immigration Law

Written by CAA Alerts on February 22, 2011, 12:30 PM Friend of Freedom:

As Americans we have a lot to worry about: OBAMACARE, debt ceiling, unemployment rates, political elections, and much more. The Illegal Immigration issue, one of the biggest problems facing a nation crying for jobs, has slipped to the "back seat" of what is driving the U.S. government. However, if you read this message from AmeriPAC, that could change quickly. We've "uncovered" an EXISTING LAW that our own government has effectively NULLIFIED by simply choosing not to enforce it. Had the federal government done its job, we, as a nation, would not be facing such an illegal immigration disaster.

As a friend of freedom and the United States Constitution, you cannot escape the unbelievable situation that we now face. And the Executive Branch of the federal government---since 1952---is to blame. They simply chose NOT to enforce this law.

Why? Most likely because major donors to major political candidates who use migrant labor to plant and harvest food crops did not want this law enforced. The law? The Federal Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952. It's still on the books. It's STILL the law of the land!

Yet, NO U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL is enforcing this law today! No Immigration Control & Enforcement agents are arresting the illegal aliens they catch under this law; nor are they arresting the benefactors who offer illegal aliens sanctuary to avoid arrest and deportation. Not one.

Nor did ICE or the Justice Department enforce that law yesterday, or last year, or at anytime in the last six decades. Yet, it's still a law. And it will end the illegal immigration problem if it is enforced. Why is everyone ignoring this law? It's up to us. The last 12 presidential administrations have ignored this law.

We're facing 11 "skeletons" in the closet, but there is still time to do something about it before there are an even dozen. The Federal Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 may not have been the total answer to the illegal immigration problem in the United States, but it offered the best solution to date.

While the Immigration Reform Act of 1965 abolished the "national origins" formula (a racial quota system) found in the 1952 law, most of the law's statutes are still on the books. They are the law of the land---providing the U.S. Attorney General or the Director of ICE enforces them.

The Federal Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 was a tough law to enact since it was a Democratically-controlled that overrode a Democratic president's veto by a margin in the Senate of 57-26 and in the House of Representatives, 278-113. The law mirrored the feelings of the voters in the United States about illegal immigration. Other than some minor revisions in the 1965 and 1986 laws, the 1952 Immigration Law is still in effect. Here is what you need to know... here is what the United States Congress must be made aware of:

NONE OF THE SUBSEQUENT LAWS RESCINDED THE PUNITIVE ENFORCEMENT MEASURES OF THE ORIGINAL 1952 IMMIGRATION LAW!

You are a felon if you enter this country illegally. If you offer aid and comfort to an illegal alien you are in violation of Section 8[a](1)(A)[iv][b](iii) of the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act. It is a crime punishable by a fine of $10 thousand per infraction or imprisonment in a federal penitentiary for not more than five (5) years---or both. It is U.S. law.

Yet, NO ONE is ever charged for violating this law. If the illegal residing in a room rented to him (or her) by you commits a crime, the law makes you liable for any loss incurred by the victim of that crime. Yet, no victims were ever compensated for the losses suffered at the hand of an illegal alien who robbed or assaulted them under the compensation provision in this law.

The American people have been waiting 59 years for this law to "kick-in." Don't you think it's time that the Attorney General and the Director of ICE enforced a law demanded by the American people? Illegals DEMAND their rights! It's time they had them through the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952. Illegal immigration---as opposed to lawful, legal immigration---is damaging this nation beyond repair. The social engineers who are trying to recast the United States into a global socialist mold believe the melting pot that cast the iron of this nation can still accommodate MILLIONS more of the poor, tired and huddled masses from all the lands of the world---even those who want to remake us into them.

THIS IS WHY OUR ECONOMY IS STRUGGLING! In its far-sightedness, the early 1950's Congress passed a law that would have eliminated many immigration fiascos that states now face! The American people have a right to expect the United States government to implement each and every law, especially one that could have far-reaching terrorist implications! The immigration problem has very much ESCALATED in the past 59 years! But in all practicality, this important law has been NULLIFIED due to NON-USE! But why has the law been IGNORED for so long?

We must force the U.S. Congress to acknowledge this law. We must force the U.S. Congress to push for Congressional and Judicial hearings on why this existing law is ignored! Quite frankly, we all share the American heritage because we have all sworn to protect and defend this country with our lives.

EVERY U.S. citizen today is either an immigrant or the descendant of an immigrant. The melting pot that fused America made us the greatest nation in the world. But we are a nation of LEGAL immigrants---a far cry from what is happening along our borders today. Had any of 12 different presidential administrations enforced the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, an immigration problem would still exist, but it would be manageable. And many unemployed U.S. citizens would have the jobs currently possessed by people in this country illegally because unscrupulous employers save wages and taxes by hiring illegals "under the table."

And, for the last 59 years, no Executive Branch official has lifted a finger to enforce the toughest immigration law ever enacted in the United States. They just blame Congress for doing nothing. Tell Congress it's their turn. Bring U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and ICE Director John Morton before appropriate House and Senate hearings and demand to know why no administration is enforcing the laws they have sworn to uphold. Enforcement of a law is 99 percent of the law. Yet, our federal government acts like this existing law is "taboo." Why? Why can't someone in this, or one of the 11 former administrations who refused to enforce the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 "come clean" after all these years.

TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THE TRUTH about why the 1952 Immigration Law is technically "null and void"---yet still on the books! Please help AmeriPAC in its fight to "put this law back on the books." Would you kindly consider giving a gift of $50, $100, or more right now? We need to get this law "back on the books." I knew I could count on you for your support.

Sincerely, Alan Gottlieb

Chairman, AmeriPAC

P. S. As Americans, we demand an answer. We just want a couple of questions answered; is that too much to ask for?

1. Why has the federal government ignored the 1952 Immigration Law?

2. Why have the Courts ignored the 1952 Immigration Law?
