NO SHARIA LAW HERE BY HJS

HJS Comments: Just for the sake of argument, how many of our readers have daughters aged eight or nine? I would be willing to say that in each case, Daddy’s little girl is worth her weight in gold or even more, no matter how crazy she drives her parents at times. And whenever it comes time to date, daddy becomes insane with worry that what appears to be a gawky or timid lad standing before him for inspection is not up to her quality.

It appears that some women in parts of this world are always owned; either by their fathers before they are married and their husbands after marriage. They can do nothing without permission from one or the other. One father today will not allow her daughter to marry; she makes too much money and as long as she has no husband, the money is his. In that culture it is said that a woman should only be outside the house twice: once when she is married and goes to the house of her husband; and then when she dies and goes to her grave.
Ideology of Islam provided—with highlights and notes—the article shown below. He mentioned 33:21 and he is correct. In that culture a pattern of conduct which is considered exemplary is called a person’s sunna. If one’s sunna is really impressive, it is remembered and copied by those who want to lead a good life. Sometimes it becomes part of the local law. Part of the sharia has always reflected the sunna of first the Companions and the Caliphs, and now the Prophet. Thus, to understand this culture, you must first understand its prophet. Whatever he did, is permissible for others—it is required to emulate him. Should you know any of the useful idiots who would like to see the sharia come to this wonderful land of ours, please remember the origin of the sharia.
Bangladesh: Islamic cleric threatens jihad if child marriage is banned

Surely, Islamic apologists in the West will get right on the line to this guy and explain that, no, Muhammad's youngest wife, Aisha, was 16, 18, didn't know how old she was, was only "nine" in Galapagos tortoise-years, or whatever other excuse they might cook up.

The problem? Islamic texts and traditions say otherwise, and Muslims follow them. Indeed, the heart of the problem is this: Muhammad married a child. The example of Muhammad, "a beautiful pattern of conduct" according to Qur'an 33:21, cannot be set aside, or standards he set "updated," lest one imply Muhammad made a mistake. That would not only insult Muhammad (things seem to become flammable when that happens) but go against the Qur'an's endorsement of him, and therefore Allah's.

That is why child marriage persists in the Islamic world, from Nigeria to Yemen to Indonesia:
"The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with 'Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)." -- Bukhari 7.62.88

"Islamist leader threatens of waging Jihad," from Weekly Blitz, April 20 (thanks to Weasel Zippers):

Notorious pro-Taliban Islamist clergy in Bangladesh, Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini has threatened to wage jihad in the country if the government will pass any law banning child marriage.
He said, two hundred thousand Jihadists of his group are ready to 'sacrifice' lives if any such law, which goes against "Koran and Sunnah" will be passed by the current government in the country.

He says it:

Mufti Amini said, "Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, who also married minor Ayesha, when she was just eight years old".
He said, "The new law initiated by the current government will put the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge."

Fazlul Haque Amini further said, "Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women."

It may be mentioned here that, current government in Bangladesh has taken several measures in ensuring better rights to the women thus treating child marriage as severe offense. It also recommends equal distribution of properties amongst male and female inherits. In contrary, Islamic Sharia law gives lesser rights to women as far as inheritance is concerned. It also allows men to marry any infant girl child. It may be mentioned here that, such law is prevalent in most of the Islamic republics, while in Iran, even forceful sexual relations with the married infant is allowed. A large segment of Muslim scholars and secularist individuals term this as mere perversion.

But child marriage remains A-OK.

In Bangladesh, especially in the rural areas, child marriage is very regular phenomenon, where hundreds of child mothers die due to lack of medical facilities as well as for pre-mature pregnancy. There are even cases of deaths of child wives being virtually raped by their husbands. Child marriage is prevalent in rural Bangladesh both amongst the Muslim and non-Muslim families.

Several weeks back, Islamist clergy Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini and Moulana Rezaul Karim launched a movement of 'combating anti-Islam actions' by the government in Bangladesh. Since then, hundreds and thousands of followers of these fanatic leaders are active in various forms of demonstrations around the country. It is also reported in media that, minor boys in the Koranic Madrassas were forced join most of the anti-government demonstrations of these leaders. According to unofficial statistics, there are roughly 9 million students attending various madrassas in Bangladesh.

Mutfti [sic] Fazlul Haque Amini is branded as a 'political tout' in Bangladesh, who is virtually making millions by selling Jihadist notion amongst the people. He is under payroll of various Islamist groups including Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Amini maintains closer ties with Al-Qaeda, Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Lashkar-e-Toiba and militant outfits inside Kashmir. He also is actively involved in recruiting local youths for participating in 'Jihad' in Kashmir, Palestine and other places in the world.

Both Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini and Moulana Rezaul Karim are known for their extreme opinion against United States, Israel and the West. They also patronize various activities against these nations, as well as provide support and logistics to anti-Semitic forces in Bangladesh.

In another world, not too far from this one and coming closer, female children are not considered very important. Some are killed at birth, buried alive in the desert. It is said that three beings can cross a qibla and invalidate a prayer: a dog, a donkey, and a female. What does that tell you about their opinion of females? One fatwa warns that a man, even a diplomat, must never shake hands or otherwise touch a female to whom he is not married. Do you get the idea that in some circles, females are considered dirty and corrupt?
